May 17, 2010 - The inaugural Marty 5K walk/run and 1 mile Fun Run was held this
past Saturday where it successfully raised funds and awareness for Memories of Love, a non-profit
service organization that helps families with young children and a parent facing life threatening illness
create happy memories.

All proceeds go to Memories of Love to help create joyful lasting and loving memories by sending the entire families for five days to Orlando, Florida for a fun-filled memory trip far removed from mounting medical bills, therapy and hospital visits.

Charity offers respite trips for families with sick parent
December 13, 2009 - Children should have good memories of their parents. Memories of Love helps create treasured memories that will last forever for children who have parents with a life-threatening or critical illness.
Those parents and their immediate families, with children age 16 and younger, can receive five nights and six days in Orlando, known as a respite trip, to spend quality time together.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Creates Memories of Love
December 20, 2006: Jacksonville, Fla. — The Memories of Love Foundation today announced that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSF) has confirmed its financial support of the organization. BCBSF's contributions will support the Jacksonville-based non-profit's ongoing efforts to provide lasting, loving memories for parents facing life-threatening illnesses and their families.
